What a move Harvick made to pass Kyle Busch for the win yesterday. I guess he'll call it the bump-bump-bump-and run! He said in his post race interview that he wasn't sure if he'd get to Kyle at the end so he had to do what he had to do right then, with 10 laps to go. Personally, I think it was a game of cat and mouse and Harvick was just toying with him.

Listening to Kyle Busch talk after the race, he made the statement: "How you race is how you get raced." He was obviously unhappy with how Harvick raced him. He said that Harvick used him up for six corners in a row, and then he moved him out of the way. Harvick had the faster car, so Busch thought that the bump-bump-bump-and run was a little excessive. I guess we'll see how all that plays out further into the season and we get into the Chase races. I'd hate to think that Harvick had to race Busch for the championship at Homestead and gets dumped!

The majority pick this week was the 19 of Daniel Suarez....interesting pick y'all. We'll be heading to the tricky triangle this week for some racing action in Pocono!

Next Race: Pocono on July 29th!

Martin Truex Jr was on a mission last week. He raced his butt off, winning all three stages and the race! He brought back a victory on a mile and a half track, which he hasn't been dominating on like he has in previous years. So, I think it was a statement rare for him.

Kurt Busch tried a different strategy, only stopping twice, to try and win the race. But, in the end he came up short because it didn't take long for Truex to muscle by him. Keselowski, the majority pick, rallied from two laps down to get back on the lead lap and finish third. Although a valiant effort, he came up short as well. One of the fastest cars on the track was the 42 of Kyle Larson, but it was a crazy night for him in which he finished 9th. He missed driver introductions and started from the rear. And on the last pit stop, he came out in the 20-something position due to taking a big swing at the handling and making a huge track-bar adjustment. It looked like that guy cranked the wrench 20 times between the left and right side. It gave him a fast car, but it was too little, too late to make a run at Truex.

On to New Hampshire this week for some action on a mile long speedway. Kat has started off strong, leading the standings, but there is an awful long way to go to wrap this half of the season up. Good luck everyone!

Next Race: New Hampshire on July 22nd!

It was a crazy race in Daytona! I think Ricky Stenhouse wrecked about 31 cars, and still couldn't win the race, haha. Even though several wrecks came early, the ending was wild too. We had two overtimes, and Eric Jones was able to overpower Martin Truex Jr for his first win! The boy is definitely good, I just wish he didn't drive a Toyota!

Our standings flip flopped several times throughout the race. But in the end, Kat was able to slip by with the win after Jimmy Johnson wrecked out. Let's get ready for the second half, and hope it is just as competitive!

No real recap this week b/c I didn't watch the race. But, I heard the end of the race with Busch and Larson was pretty good!

Looks like we've got one hell of a race going into our last race at Daytona. The top 2 are tied and have two good plate drivers picked. If it's a reckfest then maybe someone else can steal it. Good luck everyone! And remember, 2nd half of the season sheets are due next week!
